Update - Herring 16B
Here's the map for closures on the night of September 26-27.
On September 28, DFO expects to be in the New Port area.
According to the information we have, the NM, NW and NE regions (see map) will be closed by the end of next week.

We receive a MPO message notifying us of a change to their schedule for acoustic readings.

Update : Temporary closures Herring 16B
In order to prevent an early closure of the herring fishery in Area 16B, we have convinced DFO to proceed with its acoustic surveys while keeping the fishery open.
DFO therefore requests that no fisherman fish for herring in the fishing territories listed below on the dates indicated.
